Bad news folks,
The CLASSIFIEDS are CLOSED!
This has been brought on by several reasons.
1) I have maintained this site since the mid 90's out of my own pocket without any sponsers or any external source of income. Needless to say, it isn't cheap and I am just not willing to put out the cash anymore.
2) Running a website takes time, something I am in serious shortage of now. Many of you have made contact with me voicing your opinions about the site being out of date. I wish I had the time to keep it up, but I do have a "real" job that requires much of my time.
3) The server I was using began slipping in thier service and increased the cost. (One item can be found below.) There have been a few other items over the past few months that have contributed to my dissatisfaction of the server.
4) There are several other reasons that I won't go into here, but all have contributed to the final descision to close the part of the Ranch that was on the other server.
This part of the Ranch will remain open and I have no plans to shut it down anytime soon. If I can come up with a way to provide classifieds on this server without added cost, I will, but for now what you see is what you get.

I have finished repairing the site and everything should be up and running now.... (I hope).

My service provider has just moved some of my files to a new server. I have only just found out about it and am working on getting all of the HTML & scripts changed over.
River Rat Ranch is NOT closed. I am making the changes as fast as possible and should have the website repaired within the next few days.
